1/5/14: My Juicy Foodture – The Recipes
Here is the juicing plan and the recipes for the juice fast that I’m doing, courtesy of the Food Babe. If you followed the shopping list I gave earlier, you should have all of the ingredients sitting out and ready to bag up into nine bags (one bag for each meal).
The side items include some fresh, juiced cranberries (I juiced 2 bags of them), and you’ll mix 2 tbs of cranberry juice with some cold water to have a go-to drink if you’re feeling hungry and it’s not time for a meal yet. She also recommends having a hot lemon-cayenne drink each morning (the juice of ½ a lemon, a pinch of cayenne pepper, and some boiled water). And as far as I know, the Food Babe did not mention anything about fresh water, but I think we know that we need to have several ounces of fresh water every day, so make sure you have some. The tea? Drink the green tea whenever you feel like you need a warm drink and it’s not lemon-cayenne morning time.
On the next post, I’ll let you know how it goes for me!
